The new brighter LED improves visibility under strong ambient lighting (MX412D/MX418D), and the logic input and output terminals allow for remote control or use with automatic microphone mixers (MX412D/MX418D). The supplied shock mount and threaded flange mount provide additional isolation and secure mounting (MX412SE/MX418SE).
