The drivers are equipped with neodymium magnet motors and 2' diameter voice coils, delivering maximum flux in a compact package. The magnetic structure is magnetically shielded, reducing flux modulation and minimizing distortion. The 0.62' long coil ensures linear drive and high power handling of 1500W in a compact driver.
Each driver is fitted with damped blended surrounds and coated sealed paper cones, providing moisture, UV, and salt resistance for outdoor use. The extension speaker is housed in a tough fiberglass reinforced ABS cabinet, and its thick, heavy-duty aluminum grille ensures rust-free installation outdoors. A coupler plate is included for easy combination with the CBT 1000 array speaker (not included).
