The QX399 features an ultra-efficient and unique high compression driver paired with a 90° x 90° constant directivity horn (one of six horn patterns available, ranging from 60° x 45° to 120° x 60°). Four Phase Aligned 10-in low frequency transducers, arranged as vertical and horizontal pairs, utilize beneficial interaction based on their spacing to enhance pattern control.
Thanks to the symmetric arrangement of the four low frequency transducers around the high compression driver in both the horizontal and vertical planes, the response across the full frequency spectrum seems to originate from a single point in space.
Users have the option to choose between single-amp and bi-amp operating modes. Additionally, each woofer pair is independently connected to the input plate, allowing for independent, series, or parallel wiring. Together, these features provide exceptional installation flexibility.
