The ES 1203 takes the ES family to new heights! It's a complete stereo sound system that combines the versatility of its predecessors with amazing SPLs (featuring a 2400W last-generation power amp) and a remarkably coherent throw pattern.
ES1203 is a tri-amped stereo sound system with 2 passive wooden tops and 1 active wooden subwoofer equipped with 2X12' woofers. The sub houses the last-generation Digipro G4 2400W Peak amp. A powerful DSP (controlled by an intuitive user interface on top of the sub) manages all functions of the 5-channel on-board digital mixer and the system configuration.
Each top satellite has 4x4' mid-woofers, and their alignment enables asymmetrical vertical coverage (thanks to Logarithmic Curved Column Array technology). The unique phase plug design broadens the horizontal coverage and ensures perfect intelligibility.
Moreover, the on-board DSP lets users choose from 3 Configuration Modes (Mono, Stereo, or Double Column) and 2 different Steering Modes (Far and Near). This makes the system adaptable to all environments and guarantees the best throw pattern.
The top satellites can work separately in a stereo setup (on tripods or with the WB-44 accessory) or be connected together in mono. The enclosure of both satellites has a metal lock system for perfect top-to-top matching and electrical connection. One of the two satellites gets the signal from the sub and relays it to the other top.
ES1203 has an on-board 5-channel mixer: The first channel has a Mic/instrument balanced/unbalanced combo connector with an adjustable anti-feedback filter, impedance compensation, and microphone gain in 3 positions (0, +10, +20dB). The second and third channels are Mic/Line inputs with balanced/unbalanced combo connectors, allowing the system to handle up to 3 mic lines at once.
The built-in Bluetooth module receives stereo audio from portable devices and manages the signal in a separate stereo channel.
The balanced AUX/Mix output can be a direct link or an Aux output for a stage monitor or another speaker. In Double Column Mode, this output serves as a source for another ES1203 system, providing the Left or Right signal.
The semi-horn loaded subwoofer contains 2x12' woofers, the amp module, and the OLED display with system controls. The enclosure, sturdy and stylish, is made of plywood with a durable scratch-resistant black coat, making it great for on-the-go use. The magnetic dolly DO-ES1203 makes transporting the system quick and easy.
ES1203 is incredibly easy to set up. Users are guided step-by-step to configure the system for their application using the advanced graphical interface. The OLED display gives access to the heart of the system, lets you recall configuration presets, adjust levels, EQ, and create a pre/post gain mix for different purposes.
When used in Mono mode (or Double Column Mode), the system can be complemented with DP-ES1203, a wooden pole that smooths out the overall design for an elegant, unobtrusive look perfect for permanent installations.
The ES1203 bundle includes a sub cover, a bag for tops, a telescopic 35mm pole, 2 7m speakon cables, and a power cable.
