The Aviom A-16R is a 16-channel stereo digital mixer. It's great for individual performers who want independent control of their monitor mixes, especially those using wireless in-ear monitors or floor wedges. Engineers also find it useful when they need control over monitor mixes. In commercial settings, it can be used in conferencing, room combining, gymnasiums, and auditoriums. It offers intuitive control over volume and pan for 16 channels, master volume, and tone. Each unit can store up to sixteen preset mixes with three subgroups per preset. Channels, channel pairs, or groups can be soloed or muted. It can be remotely controlled from the optional A-16CS Control Surface or select third-party controllers. The A-16R has balanced line-level outputs on XLR or 1/4” TRS jacks, insert send and return points via balanced 1/4” TRS jacks, MIDI In, Out, and Thru jacks, and an auxiliary stereo mix input. Audio is provided via Aviom's Pro16 A-Net protocol on a Cat-5e cable. It can be powered locally with an external DC power supply or remotely over the Cat-5e cable using an A-Net Distributor. The mixer can be used with other Pro16 devices. The A-16R is 19” (482.6 mm) x 6.7” (170.2 mm), 1U high and weighs 3.4 lbs (1.54 kg). All Aviom products are designed and manufactured in the USA.
